George has been deaf since he was seven, after a car accident left him unable to hear. He moved to America with his family shortly after and, due to his hearing loss, his parents were afraid to send him to a regular school, so he was homeschooled for years. Now, at 17, George is starting his senior year in real highschool. Struggling to fit in and feeling isolated, he meets Clay, a boy who offers him the friendship he's been searching for. Together, they navigate the challenges of life, showing that real connection doesn't depend on words.
