**Innocents**. What a meaningful word, don't you think? We all have or had our innocence. But what is considered "our" innocence or "your" innocence? The word "innocent" can signify being found not guilty, maintaining your sanity, or simply appearing innocent. There is so much meaning packed into such a small word. Ni'Ari was once innocent. Ni'Ari loved Alanis, but they could never see eye to eye. One day, Alanis decided it was time to call it quits, and so their connection faded away. Yet, Ni loved her-she always did. Ni loved how she could be herself around Alanis and how Alanis made her feel. But how? Ni had never actually met her. She couldn't grasp why she was so attached to Alanis. I live nowhere near Amsterdam, more to the east in The Netherlands, about 2 hours driving away, but it makes no difference.

Being half human, half snake, her luminescent eyes turned the living into the inanimate. To save her children, the Queen of the planet rifted her children into Earth, where they lived for 500 years, unaware of their cursed destiny. After a prophecy declaring that the oldest would die, the truth started unravelling and they learnt things- that would change things forever.
