"We are all the heroes of our own stories."

Rachelle always dreamed of the day she would take her test, the day she would finally become the true hero she always knew she would be.
Unfortunately for Rachelle the Testing Officials see everything and they know there is no place for her among the heroes.
Rachelle is shocked when her results come through. She'd done everything she could to make her father, one of the most respected heroes of the R.B.U, proud and now all that hard work was gone. He could never be proud of a disappointment like her, especially when compared to Rachelle's best friend, or ex best friend, Camden.
With the help of her new villainous partner and their new friends, Rachelle learns, to not only accept her fate but embrace it.
Rachelle's future seems bright, that is until she learns the true meaning of being a villain, and she'll do anything to fight that fate.

WARNING: CONTAINING AMOUNTS OF SASS PREVIOUSLY UNKNOWN TO MANKIND In the city of NYC--- Ok. Hold up. First of all, New York City. What, are ya gonna assume everyone here knows what NYC is? Anyway, this is about two people. I can almost hear you rolling your eyes. Another cliché teen fiction with a bad boy and a good girl? Nope. This is about superheroes. I can still hear you rolling your eyes. Superheroes. Like in comic books? Like people with super speed and mutant powers? Yes. But this isn't about the fight they have. More about the lives they lead without the masks. But just keep in mind, people who live in the world have all different skin colours. Do not assume my characters are of one unless I state them explicitly. and diversity is welcome here in my novel! Anyhow, back to the story. Ever wonder where supervillains go after their fight with the hero? What about the other side of the story? It's not like they sit in their lair cackling all day and planning how to kidnap reporters. What about the lives they lead? And instead of just focusing on that, what if the superhero and the supervillain knew each other? I mean, can they see behind the mask? No, so their identities are secret. So what if the hero and villain were best friends? What if they were roommates? What if they were falling for each other? And what happens when they find out? Now, I assume you know all of these questions will be answered in this book. But hold on. It's going to take a while. You're in for a bumpy ride. And if any of you got any of the references in this description, give yourself a pat on the back. That is a beautiful thing. And if you can name all the references in this book, you truly are a gift to mankind. Fangirl out.

**A Wattpad Featured Story** Kenna Jones isn't a Superhero, and she wants to keep it that way. Though her brother, Sebastien, is a star member of the Sapphire City Super team, Kenna keeps her Super abilities to herself and far away from a celebrity lifestyle she finds selfish and disillusioning. For reasons she'd rather forget, she can't stand most Supers, and uses her mildly famous pen name as a kind of secret identity instead. One evening, fiercely independent Kenna meets the new guy, Enigma, in the most annoying circumstances, and finds him slowly chipping away at her prejudices. Then, with Villains on the loose, threatening to foist a great Evil (with a capital E) on Sapphire City and those she holds dear, Kenna has to ask herself one question: is it time for everything to change?
