Nadia has dedicated her life to swimming. She has one goal-to stand on the top of the podium again and again at the world's most prestigious competitions. When she's not swimming, she's sleeping, eating or immersing herself in the high-speed world of Formula 1. As the World Championship in Bahrain approaches, Nadia's world takes an unexpected turn. A chance meeting with someone at the event sparks a connection that could lead her to her long-time role models. Note: This story is a LN ff, but it's not focused in the Formula 1 world completely, as the main character is a swimmer, so a lot of the time we get to see her world as well. June 30th, 2014. My life has always been a mess. From bullies constantly pushing me to the ground to my family pulling me in so many directions I begin to fall apart. Now she's found herself in an unlikely position in order to achieve her goal: competing under the Monegasque flag. It can be done, so long as she can rely on a disgraced coach, her hard work and the hours of commuting to and from Monte Carlo. And if she can pick up a house sitting side job from her boss all the better, no? That's what she thought, until she bumped into her "neighbour" and renown player among the F1 world. Beatrice knows better than to give into his charm... but when feelings are involved things might just start to go off track. Content warning: lots of swearing, spice is present but the writing is mainly plot based if you're looking for only *smut* this is not going to cut if for you, cheating and susbstance use are mentioned as well as struggles with mental health.
