An ice age covers the world in a thick layer of snow that leads everyone to what most have believed to be the end of all days. Most of the world has perished, leaving less than a million alive to fight and fend off for themselves.
Rhyolite Dorro is one of many that's trying to find his way through the rough times that has emerged from the last 9 years. He's done his best to ration out food, give himself heat, and find sources of entertainment while confined in a small cabin in the middle of nowhere. With each attempt of one of those 3 going out to waste each day, he's starting to lose hope. That is, until an unexpected visitor appears in his home one day...

So, for those that read this, this was meant to be the collab book I announced on Christmas day of 2024, but a few things fell through. Motivation wasn't a hotspot, and I didn't want this idea to go to waste or not get finished. So, here it is!

ES AU: Cloudy, with a Chance of Thunder
(Yes, the description is bad, I'm sorry qwq) Jolteon, Flareon, Vaporeon and Shiny Sylveon have lived their entire lives in Greenhill forest. While both Flareon and Vaporeon had pretty shelterd childhoods, the same cannot be said for the other two who did everything in their power to provide for them. Things however, weren't meant to last, as shortly after evolving the Sylveon mysteriously disappeared without a trace. The story picks up two years later when unbeknownst to the three Eeveelutions one walk in the forest and the sudden reappearence of their brother would turn their world upside down. Join them in their new day-to-day lives filled with drama, heart break and dark secrets, but also laughs, good times and maybe, just maybe... love? (The story mainly follows the events of ES, with the addition of a Shiny Sylveon named Cloud, who sets in motion a chain of events that could reshape the multiverse as we know it.) 𝐕𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞. 𝐀𝐝𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. 𝐈𝐧𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞. Echo Cereus, an Umbreon with a case of selective mutism, is shipped off to the Kalos Kingdom with his estranged brother, Tanuki Cereus, a Flareon with a chronic case of clumsiness. Objective? Study the artifact known as the Evolutionite under the tutelage of the kingdom's rulers. For the socially adverse Echo, the situation looked bleak. Things only go from bleak to dire as he is sent to a small town and has to interact with Pokémon he isn't too fond of. However, things are never what they seem. There is more to Kalos than what meets the eye. Beneath the pristine surface of the region and the kingdom lie various concerns bubbling to the surface. Discrimination, harmful stereotypes, and dangerous Pokémon become quite noticeable over time. In an unfamiliar place, the estranged brothers can only rely on each other and face the turmoil that's been eating at their relationship since their childhood. *I don't own the Pokémon franchise, nor am I the owner of the art used for this cover. A small, weak Umbreon has to survive on his own. Continuing a catastrophic calamity claiming his kin's lives, he must learn to live in the forest, with his mental capacity trying to stay in tact. The whispers of insanity travel to even the most remote locations, finding weaker opponents to seduce and succumb. Possibly, with enough support from the many friends he meets, and even from magical entities? Maybe, he can piece back the scraps of his shattered soul.
