It has been three months since their last battle with Doctor Eggman, giving Sonic and his friends enough time discover there is a second "Master Emerald" with a power that could either cause horrible destruction or save the world. Meanwhile, Sonic finally confronts his feelings towards Amy, and Amy figures out whether she can really trust the aloof hedgehog she had been chasing for years or if it's time to give up. (Basically, this is like a slowburn sonamy story)
