Romantic Fantasy Reimagining of The Nightingale
❇
Daya Efron serves the Royal Crown of Oskain as their court healer, but she works not in medicine or surgery-but in song. Her singing voice carries the ability to heal when heard, and when she saved the Crown Prince from death as a child, she was made to live in the palace and service the Crown as needed. However, as the years continued on, her services dwindled to merely upkeeping the Queen's youthful appearance.
However, things begin to change as a sudden death in the royal court makes the ruling powers in need of new entertainment. This brings forth auditions to serve as the court musicians, and one such troupe brings another woman who heals with her song. While favor in Daya's voice has fallen, the new woman enchants the King, and he decides to hold a series of contests to decide which singer will continue to serve in the court.
Daya, although desperate to remain and vy for the chance to marry the Crown Prince she's loved since she was a child, finds complications in another man of the new troupe-who's presence and voice somehow affect her own in ways she's never seen before. She must fight to remind the Crown of her rightful place among them, or perhaps discover a wider world beyond the palace walls she'd long forgotten.
Dark romance smut
"Got you" he whispers into my ears as he lifts me up. He wears a black suit and begins to take off his tie, "be a good girl for me" I shut my eyes and lean into him. His big hands place the tie over my eyes and I see darkness. In one sharp move he spins me round and pulls his belt off and wraps it onto my hands. I feel him strip off the remaining fabric I have left on my body and place me on the kitchen counter.
