After 4 years of giving it her all in her relationship and getting nothing but betrayal in the end, Mia is finally ready to move on and start anew but fate has other plans. When her best friend suggests they go to an island for the summer themed beach wedding of one of her childhood friends, Mia has no problem with going seeing as it is her chance to have some much needed freedom as she knows what awaits her future when she returns back to New York.
Things start to take an interesting turn however, when one of the groomsmen, Lucas, takes a liking to her due to a past she had forgotten and one he lived by.
