Deirdre is the daughter of the most feared Alpha from the North. With a history of slaughtering anyone who crosses him, Deirdre didn't grow up too different. Stubborn and fierce, Deirdre doesn't bow down to anyone. Not even the Alpha she's handed to so her father could strike a deal with him. With her, the packs will become allies and their long history of hatred and blood will finally come to an end. However, the hatred doesn't seem to be weakening in her new home as she becomes their enemy. Forced into an arranged mating with Alpha Artemas, who would rather watch the life drain from her eyes, she's faced with a challenge she's willing to destroy. With a thick wall built around her heart, Deirdre plans on getting rid of Artemas so she can return home. Fate has other plans.

In this book, we will follow the story of a teenage girl, Deniz Brown, half American, half Turkish, and Derek Garcia, the future alpha of the pack, ruthless, troubled, but extremely handsome and charming. Though they come from different worlds, destiny has made them mates. However, one of them doesn't believe in love, and the other doesn't want a "lesser" woman to be his future luna, whom he also despises. When you think everything belongs to you, life teaches you a lesson you can't forget, hitting you where it hurts the most, straight in the heart. You can call it love or disaster because it can cause wounds that are hard to heal. Will those wounds heal? Will our protagonists manage to overcome them? Why does Derek hate Deniz so much, what is the real story?
