Love is a powerful thing. Everyone has their versions and interpretations. Whether it's the love a child has for a puppy they see. Or the love that forever lives with the elders partner after they die. Everyone also has their own story of coming across the objects or people they love. Even though you may think you absolutely love something/one you may stumble upon something/one else that will make you wonder why you ever thought you'd be complete with the other thing/person. Love also controls your decisions. For example you may have chosen the red gum ball as a child instead of the blue gum ball because all the other little kids chose the red as well, but you soon realize that you would've liked the blue one better. Or when you're old and feeble and have nothing else to do but think back on who you gave your love to when you were 16, it may put a smile on your face because even then you knew it wasn't right, and still doesn't feel right, it was 100% worth it. Because love, can do that

To Be Torn Apart

13 parts Ongoing Mature

For others, growing up means growing apart, but for us, it felt different. We were inseparable, two halves of a whole, convinced that as long as we had each other, we could conquer anything the world threw our way. We were bound by something that felt unshakable-a connection so deep, it was as if the universe had designed us to fit perfectly together. But life has a cruel sense of irony. None of us could have predicted that the very force keeping us together would eventually drive us apart. What we thought was our foundation slowly became the fault line of every crack, every misunderstanding, every silence that grew too heavy to bear. Sometimes love is like that-a double-edged sword. It builds and destroys, heals and hurts, holds and pushes away. And before we knew it, the thing we once believed was our greatest strength became the storm that tore us apart.
