After the COVID-19 pandemic, many people have lost loved ones and lost a part of themselves. No one thought another pandemic would happen so soon, but one did. They called it the Night Blood Virus. This virus is caused by all the radiation which was created by nuclear bombs and nuclear factories. These have increased due to World War 3, about 100 years ago in 2050. This virus is extremely deadlier than any virus that spreads around the world. If you caught this virus, your survival rating is 1%. This virus has few symptoms, meaning no one would know if they have it. When one has it, and their body rejects the virus they will start bleeding black fluid or blood from their ears, nose, and mouth. Those who get the virus and survive develop mutations or so-called powers, due to their body holding in the radiation-filled virus. The only known government has been hunting the night blood, the survivors of the virus. What Night Bloods will come out alive?

The After Effects
After it all happened, the Plague created what feels like a whole new world. Survivors created new lives for themselves and carried on with their lives. Me? I didn't get the chance to create a new life. Thanks to my absolutely wonderful father figure, I was forced to become an entirely different person. Thankfully I was able to escape his peachy influence and take some control of my new life. What I don't know is the Plague brought on after effects. "The world around her swam with mottled light. How long had she been fighting?" So...in sixth grade we took this computer-skills class. Our final test was to write a short story in Microsoft Word. My story ended up fleshing out into the trilogy I am working on and planning to publish at somepoint in my life, but I realized how incredible my writing skill has improved between just the two or three years.
