Billy's mind spins and spins. Tavish is a perplexing hot mess that Billy doesn't know much about. His only choice is to make a list. - He knows his name is pronounced as Thomas. - He knows he's tall and handsome. - He knows he's Scottish. - He knows he's a senior with two grade retentions. - He knows he partakes in a crazy amount of lifting competitions. - He knows he has won a crazy amount of lifting competitions as well. - He knows he might enter the Olympics in a few years; everyone has been talking about it at school. - He knows he's hotheaded; everyone talks about it too, but behind closed doors. - He knows he has fucking nice hands. And, what he doesn't know yet but he's about to learn soon, Tavish can be annoying as fuck when he makes pestering you his life mission. --- Somebody's in the closet. Somebody hasn't even had the courage nor the will to step into the closet. That makes for a pretty neat love story.

The whole camp was filling with smoke. I coughed, praying that my lungs would keep working for just a few more minutes. "Eli, which way is west?" Adam's breathing was just as labored from physical exertion, smoke, and panic as mine was. I didn't even process the question. I didn't know. We couldn't see anything through the smoke because the fire was spreading so quickly, and I just realized I'd forgotten my walkie-talkie. "Don't know!" I answered. Adrenaline was the only thing that kept my feet going. I knew we'd come in the East Gate, and if the cells were in the center, then if we kept going straight, we were going to find the gate any second. "Keep straight!" I instructed. I saw his head bob slightly, acknowledging my delayed direction. Then Adam cried out beside me, and I stopped short. I reached for his body involuntarily as he pitched forward, nearly causing him to take me down with him. My left hand was soaking wet from where it had landed on his shoulder. I winced as I tried to steady him, not daring to look at what I knew would be a pool of blood in my hand. ☁ Now that they have a new ally on their side, they're looking to change the United States for good. At some point, they want every camp freed and every teenager home safe. But each new camp brings an endless supply of new challenges. Things are beginning to spin out of control. Follow each of them as they discover who they are, who they love, and more of their country's secrets than they could ever dream of in a thrilling trilogy told from all five points of view.

But then there's this guy. This guy in his calculus class who winks at him. And suddenly, they're partners for a project. And Toby cannot stop thinking about him. Toby does his best to balance school, work, relationships, and the biggest secret he's ever kept as life goes on. He does, honestly. He tries so very hard. But things like drama, bizarre coincidences, and, of course, his crippling tendency to overthink have been making it difficult, and it's really not fair. But Toby just cannot stop thinking about that boy. And there are times when he wants to hate himself because of it. Sometimes, Toby's life sucks. He'll admit it. But as aggravating as the feeling of being just out of reach of a romance he desperately craves is, there's something... thrilling about it. Something that, no matter how many times he tries, cannot get him to stop this madness. He's in trouble. Absolutely. But maybe trouble can have its benefits. *** cover art by me!
