For their entire lives, Claire and Sydney have only known the tiny world they live in: a small, picturesque town populated by children and teens like themselves, and caregivers, a man or woman assigned to each child to cater to basic needs and make sure their child doesn't leave the town. However, both girls have always been curious about life outside the town. Strange happenings begin to occur, phenomena that no one in the town have seen, and with these, the caregivers become more oppressive. Claire and Sydney decide their only option is escape, but what they will find will turn their lives upside down.
West Harrison grew up in Sydney. For the majority of his life everything was perfect. That is until his parents and siblings went on a holiday that he couldn't go on due to the recent flu outbreak that he'd fallen victim to.
While on this holiday his family was in a fatal accident and only his two brothers and his sister survived.
At first it was assumed they'd be put into foster care, however their dads friend from uni rocked up on their door one day and off they went. Out of Sydney in a ute all the way to a small no name town, where they discover that living with ten and upwards girls is not exactly the easiest thing to do.
