For their entire lives, Claire and Sydney have only known the tiny world they live in: a small, picturesque town populated by children and teens like themselves, and caregivers, a man or woman assigned to each child to cater to basic needs and make sure their child doesn't leave the town. However, both girls have always been curious about life outside the town. Strange happenings begin to occur, phenomena that no one in the town have seen, and with these, the caregivers become more oppressive.
