Kokichi Oma was a hurricane of chaos. Mischievous, loud, and impossibly cunning, he turned Hope's Peak High into his personal playground. Everyone knew him, and everyone either adored or despised him. For Shuichi Saihara, it was the latter.
Shuichi hated him. He hated the constant pranks, the endless teasing, and, most of all, the confessions. Kokichi's infatuation with him was no secret. The boy had declared his feelings so many times-through loud announcements in the cafeteria, by scribbling "Saihara-chan ♥" on the whiteboard in every classroom, and even by sneaking ridiculous love notes into Shuichi's locker. Each gesture pushed Shuichi further to the brink.

Shuichi. He was one of the mean people to Kokichi but after seeing him like that,he wanted to help. Will Kokichi trust Shuichi after all he's done? Will their relationship blossom into something more than friends? (First book of the trilogy) Kokichi, a kind, extroverted boy, moved out to a new city and dropped out in a new school: Spring Field Academy, he quickly made friends here and became one of the popular students, but soon after a few weeks, he notices that one of his classmates is left out from everybody else. Kokichi never saw that boy speak to anyone, neither did he hear him talk in the first place, so of course he decided to try and befriend this lonely boy. This is a non-stereotypical pregame Saiouma story where there is no stalker-ish creepy Shuichi or uwu boy Kokichi, just their ingame personalities with a few changes here and there, I hope you will like this fluff story, there may be some angst here and there or other things, but I'll just put warnings in chapters for people uncomfortable with it :D contains: angst violence smut (the smut part will be separated from other chapters so that people that don't wanna read it would be able to skip it) aaand a lil bit of hidden lore you could try finding out with some clues, I know that there will be detective readers hungry for some lore 🔍 but you still have to find what could be related to a hidden lore 🤭 I could maybe, just maybe give you some hints! enjoy the fanfic!Complete

Every day, Shuichi sits alone behind the school, reading his book peacefully, almost as if he enjoyed being lonely. But it was not always the case, as he used to be social and cheerful. Kokichi gets intrigued and worried by his unordinary behavior and decides to approach this outsider to get some answers. Will there forever be an animosity between these two? Or maybe a long awaited frienship could bloom? Perhaps even more? As usual, I don't like spoiling in the tags, so I will write some trigger warnings here.
