Darkness always causes fear and chaos inside us, and we are always afraid of losing ourselves somewhere in there. Some of us got used to it that we start to feel comfortable and peaceful in there and we began spending more time inside it. One weird thing about Darkness is we meet ourselves there who are different from what we really are. And when we start talking to them, we're going to want more of it. We will fall in love with the things that we tried to run away from all our lives. 

The only way that light can enter the darkness is by breaking those walls in between Sometimes, I feel our hearts are the walls around our souls. And Sometimes, they need to be broken too.
