When was the last time you marched into the unknown, with only the soft glow of a motive you strongly believed in?

Anna Blackwood was 7 years old when her father, John Blackwood, was presumed murdered. For years, she was told he was dead, but she could never bring herself to believe in a lie. Right before her 18th birthday, she receives a letter that changes everything she once knew.

Containing the only piece of truth, Anna embarks on a journey that takes her around the globe- and deeper into danger- to uncover the truth behind her father's disappearance and the person behind it. When she sets sail on her journey, she crosses paths with Jack, a charmingly handsome and yet spoiled man, whom received the same letter and has been searching for answers of his own.

But who is Jack?
Why would he be searching for John Blackwood?
Can Anna trust someone who knows more than he letting on?

Jack is mysterious with a dark past, yet Anna finds her self more drawn to him as the line between enemy and ally blurs. Torn between her growing feelings and desire for answers Anna must make a difficult decision as she uncovers more of the truth from the echoes of a loved one.

NOTE: Regarding the book cover, AI was used ONLY for the figure of the woman, portraying Anna, and the figure of the man, portraying Jack. I did on my own all of the rest on Canva.

Since her father's sinister murder three years ago, Charley Green's life has never been the same. She finds her family shattered and frozen in the tragedy that derailed their lives that fateful Christmas morning, in which her father's lifeless body was discovered mutilated and gunned down in a motel. Desperate for closure, Charley decides she is done waiting for outside forces to grant her salvation. As her father's old friends re-enter her life, she finds that what lies beneath their smiling faces may be more ominous than what she anticipated. With each layer that is peeled back, their intentions become more questionable, their relationship with her father more sinister. As Charley soon begins to realize, sometimes the darkest truths lie beneath the honeyed masks of those closest to you. Those truths are best left buried. [THIS STORY IS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING EDITED]
