Just like any other wealthy drunk teenager, Mason Worthington wrote a love letter on an empty bottle of Jack Daniels and threw it overboard while on the family's yacht. On the other side of the town, Madeline Walters was taking a break from a stressful day when she saw a bottle ashore. Upon reading its contents, she too replied mindlessly and threw the bottle back to the ocean. Meanwhile, on the opposite side of Maddy was the excited Worthington siblings, who, upon seeing that someone had replied, had the determination to find her.
