Phil is a loner boy who has just taken a long train ride from his home in Northern England to Manchester. With only a new life in mind, Phil sets out to pave his own path. One rainy night, he finds a young boy of only 20 lost and cold, having been kicked out of his home for unknown reasons. Phil takes him under his wing and finds that they have a lot more in common than the young stranger is showing.
