Oh, here we go again-another friends-to-lovers story. I know what you're thinking: Doesn't everyone write these? Isn't this trope overdone? And honestly? You're not wrong. It's the kind of story we've all seen a thousand times. Childhood friends, shared memories, unspoken feelings-it's familiar, maybe too familiar. But hear me out, because this story? It's a little different. Or at least, that's what I'm hoping for.
You see, this isn't just a simple tale of two friends realizing they're meant to be. No, it's going to take time-a slow burn, the kind that makes you want to yell at the characters to just get together already. There will be tension, moments of "almost," and plenty of "what ifs."
