Albeit, you learn that he wasn't really drowning but just torturing himself into believing he was being delusional and a coward all along and trying to punish himself?

What is the likelihood of being asked by the same person, whom you keep crossing paths with, to marry him just after knowing him for barely a few weeks only to find yourself rejecting him immediately for obvious reasons and then get pulled into a bloody event of mobs then get saved by him?
