Viktor Čapek has never met Jayce Talis in his life. Sure, they have a few classes together, but they've exchanged nothing more than mindless glances. Viktor is too focused on his studies to even think about trying to make new friends. Jayce, though also preoccupied with his studies, already has a group of friends that are near and dear to him.
So, when Viktor has a dream concerning Jayce, he chalks it up to being sleep-deprived. Perhaps he's just been staying up too late studying. But then, the dreams continue, becoming more vivid each time. Sometimes, he's having a conversation with Jayce; sometimes, they're working together on strange-looking experiments in a dimly lit lab. It's not long before these dreams begin to feel more like memories.
Jayce, meanwhile, finds himself daydreaming about Viktor in the middle of class. That, in itself, wasn't unusual - he had a bad habit of zoning out when he got bored - but every one of these daydreams was centered around Viktor. Often he sees himself hunched over a lab table next to Viktor, working alongside the man in comfortable silence. Other times, he swears he can hear snippets of a conversation held between him and Viktor. Every time, he feels a deep sense of déjà vu, like these events have somehow already happened to him.
It's clear that having normal college lives at Piltover University simply isn't in the cards for these two. The universe has no plans to sit back and let them avoid one another - at least, not for long.
A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world.
The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
