Dublin, 1916: A city at war with itself.

Brigid Callahan has spent her life preparing for this moment. As the Easter Rising sweeps through Dublin, the young schoolteacher steps out of the shadows, risking her life to aid the fight for Irish independence. But when she crosses paths with Declan O'Shea, an Irishman in a British uniform, her carefully guarded world begins to unravel.

Declan never intended to become an enemy of his own people. A soldier in the British Army out of necessity rather than loyalty, he has always kept his head down and followed orders. Yet as Dublin erupts in rebellion, Declan's growing disillusionment with British rule collides with his undeniable connection to Brigid.

In a city divided by barricades and bloodshed, Brigid and Declan's forbidden love blooms in the unlikeliest of places. But their bond comes at a cost. Brigid's brother, a key figure in the uprising, sees Declan as a threat to their cause, while Declan's commanding officer begins to question his loyalty.

As the rebellion hurtles toward its tragic conclusion, Brigid and Declan must make an impossible choice: stay true to their love or sacrifice it for the causes that define them.
