Meredith has been through a lot, at every turn there seemed to be something around the corner waiting for the perfect moment to jump out at her and cause more chaos. She has some problems, she knew this. What she didn't know was that others might start to catch on to her and the secrets she herself even tried not to acknowledge, she especially didn't think it would be the woman whose husband she had sex with to be the one to find out what she was going through and try and help her.

Addison knew she messed up with Derek but she was't that upset about it as they had both known for a while that they weren't meant for each other, and when Richard called for a consult she couldn't say no to her old friend. Though she didn't think Derek would move onto another woman without even telling the poor girl he was still married, and she definitely didn't expect to feel a motherly connection for her ex's mistress when she starts to find out everything the girl is trying to hide from others.
