Dylan Flynn and her brothers spend every single summer with their grandparents up in Cape Cod. Well, to be more specific, with her grandmothers neighbors. The Moores and the Leroy's were both two loud, active big families that live right next to Dylan's grandmother. For as long as she can remember, or well as long as they had been going to Cape Cod, Dylan and her brothers had been running around with both the Moore's and the Leroy's. All of them were like family to her, and she couldn't imagine those long summers without them. But now, Dylan is feeling things for one of the boys she's known forever. Feelings she can't afford to feel. {coming March 11}

  • The Truth About That Summer

Three months. One Summer. One boy. Lyla Taylor a girl who says whatever comes to mind ends up accidentally saying her principal looks like a parot, saying her neighbor does not have a husband because she is mean and grumpy, and many more to many people. But the final straw was when she said her aunt looks like she swallowed a watermelon not knowing she was pregnant causing her parents to send her to her grandmother's house for the Summer. She had never met her grandmother before because her mother left home when she fell pregnant with her at the age of Nineteen. What does this Summer have in store for Lyla? (This book is a work of fiction and the characters, the setting and many more come from my mind/imagination.)
