Dawn knew better.

She knew better than to be looking through her window at a tempting sight oozing with forbiddenness. What would her parents think? To come into her room and to see her eye-fucking the boy next door, who she wasn't supposed to even breathe towards.

Her desire for the boy next door always comes back, tied to her waist like an invisible string pulling to him wherever he goes.

"I can feel you staring." A low hum of a voice spoke through her thoughts.

Shit. I've been staring, she thought.

"I wasn't." Dawn blurted out quickly and closed the curtains. Flustered, she blew her hair out of her face. However, she still stood in front of the window, hoping to still gaze at Stone through the curtains.

"I like it when you do," Stone exclaimed, wanting Lucky to hear his snarky remark. Although, he was surprised at how the words lacked his initial intention and came out almost, sincere.

"Shut it, Stone." She walked and sat on her bed still facing the window, back to her task at hand. She didn't bother to go fix the curtains again that had let sunlight peeked through.

Dawn was faced with a problem. She had become addicted to a shadow of a man. Stone.

She was supposed to stay away, but when she sees something she shouldn't have, it forces her to confront him until he tells her the truth.

As much as Stone wishes she stayed away, he wishes for to get even closer. He knows she always watching, maybe apart of him wants to show what his family has been hiding.
