Danny was crowned high king of the Infinite Realms when he turned eighteen. He had cut off contact with his friends and family upon his crowning because they didn't understand his half ghost nature any longer, they disagreed with him ruling the realms. Now he spends his days ruling the realms to his best ability.

His solitude is interrupted when he's called upon by the Justice League to get rid of Darkseid, he soon finds happiness in the human realm once again
