Suffocating Poetry is a work that aims to change the world. At least, the world of poetry. It features a style very unique to the author who, immersed in constant existential crises, tries to communicate to the outside world, through a deeply melancholic lyricism, the pains that mark his ephemeral and insignificant existence. This book can be considered a scream. A scream through which echo suffering, pain, sadness, anguish, melancholy, grief and some daydreams arising from mere illusory euphoria that lead to nothing. This work will not be dedicated, in the classic Machado style, to any worms that may devour the decomposing flesh of its author. This book is already dedicated to the worms that, in this vale of tears, permeate and suffocate, in life, the putrid mind of this solitary writer. These are poems for those who have a stomach. If you are looking for comfort, this place is not recommended for you... Remembering that the English version is not equal to the Brazilian one! This one doesn't contain all of the poems present in the original work which is the Brazilian one. Also, there's not a physical book of its own available. For the Brazilian version, the physical book is available on Amazon.

MELANCHOLY | MAY GARNER | AVAILABLE ON AMAZON!    This melancholy drips from my fingertips so slowly you begin to forget I ever existed. All of me - the parts of flesh you never quite learned to love slips quietly down the drain. I am waiting for the day your fingers unscrew the pipes, dig through the mess, scrape your heart against rust, just to find me again, so we can do it all over. Here, in these pages, I find myself. In ink pressed against my flesh, I whisper the sadness, the heartache, the decay meant for all the unspoken.    A Poetry Collection by May Garner. Original poems regarding real life experiences. Cover created on Canva. 2026. Melancholy copyright © May Garner. 2026. All Rights Reserved.
