A Distant Dream.is a poignant story that follows the journey of a 17 year old young man named Daiki, a passionate soccer player on his school's team, "Hakuyoku.  Daiki dreams of becoming the best soccer player in the world and aims to surpass famous players like Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. As he progresses in his sports competitions, he faces unexpected challenges when strange symptoms appear, prompting him to go to the hospital, where he receives a devastating diagnosis of advanced  stage cancer. As his hopes of achieving his dream begin to fade, Daiki must confront the harsh reality and deal with the difficulties that may change his life forever. The story explores themes of ambition, friendship and hope in the face of adversity
