"I don't trust people who wear fake smiles."

Your gaze turned to him when he stepped forward.

The way he looked down on you, not only because his height is taller than yours but also because you could tell he feels like it, you'd be lying if you said that's not doing something to your mind.

But you were never one to back down. You didn't flinch or shy away like everyone else. No, you raised your head and met his stare head-on. A challenge. "And I don't trust people who silently watch others like a creep."

He huffed a laugh, his gaze darkening as he looked down at you.

He took another step forward, bringing himself close to you, towering over you. He could just lean down, reach out, grab your chin-

His hands clenched into a fist, stopping his thoughts for a millisecond.

"I don't watch like a creep, princess," he drawled, his voice low. "I observe."

"Ohh~ Freaky." You mused as your eyes locked on his brown one. The eyes that look so dead and dark when you see it from afar, now up close, it was more of a soft brown that radiates warmth under the light of the autumn sun.

"I like that." You added with a lopsided grin.

He was a shadow who lurked in darkness, She was the light who illuminated his existance. He was a puzzle wrapped in an enigma, She was the bane to his existance. He was a man after his own heart, She was his heartbeat. If he was winter, she was his spring, And he couldn't face it without her. Simon Riley was no stranger to loss. From the brutal murder of his broken family, to the life of every soldier snuffed out by the bullet of a faceless enemy. Having his loved ones, his friends unceremoniously torn away from him never got any easier. It wounded him in ways that, while not visible, cut him deeper than any knife ever could. The toll it took permeated every aspect of his existance, infiltrating his sense of self and dismantling his identity. A once deeply empathetic man found himself surrendering to indifference; suffocating meaningful connections before they had time to breathe. He sought solace in detatching himself from others before they could affect him deeply enough for their eventual loss to shatter what little humanity he clung to. Over time, a callous layer formed around Simon's heart- as though an impenetrable shield encased him. Throbbing emotional wounds slowly turned into numb scars, each one an indelible mark on his soul. It felt like he was drowning; being pulled under by an invisible undertow into the depths of sorrow. Every breath became a battle, each gasp a desperate attempt to surface above the crushing waves of loss. Through the suffocating darkness, there was no tranquility. No respite from the insatiable abyss that consumed joy and drowned laughter. It wasn't any one thing that slowly began to chip away at Simon's carefully constructed walls. By the time he became the cornerstone of Task Force 141, very few people knew the man beneath it all. The real Simon Riley, that was until, she came along. Story will include slowburn and erotica. 𝑺𝒊𝒎𝒐𝒏 𝑮𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝑹𝒊𝒍𝒆𝒚 | 𝑨 𝑮𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝑭𝒂𝒏𝒇𝒊𝒄 Destroying his body was the only outlet he knew. Memories of his past flooding in, darkening his mind. His sadness turned into anger, which led to his frustration and fear. The abuse, the pain, the nightmares. It all became too much for Simon '𝖦𝗁𝗈𝗌𝗍' Riley. Until she came along, slowly entering his mind, fixing the pieces up of his shattered heart. _____ "Ghost," she pleads. His scalp burns as she threads her fingers through his hair and tugs. Twisting it in her fists and pulling him closer to her centre, forcing him to eat her the way she wants. He smiles against her, craving her neediness more than his own. "You like my mouth, Alessia?" Her head rolled forward from the pillow, her breaths heavy as she met his gaze. "I like your mouth more when you're using it to please me." He crooked his fingers inside of her, causing a moan out of her. "Does that please you, baby?" "Again." She ordered.
