An entire civilisation, separated from the rest of the world and preserved in time and a bubble, appears to be the only remnants of natural magic left in a world where magic is forgotten. This civilisation, thanks to this "bubble" and the magic of their elders, is concealed and protected from the rest of the world. Many were okay with being shielded from the threat of greedy, power-hungry outsiders; while others, of course, viewed this domain as a prison- a means of protecting the rest of the world from those inside. In some cases that is true. "To Change the Future you must first Survive the Past". I've learned that over the past few weeks. This isn't a story of how a sequence of events swept my new friends and me into a world of madness and disarray. It's a telling of how 6 teens - Xavier, Whyatt, Faith, Dani, Jane, and me, Aaron- embark on a journey to escape our world and save another. But when every choice we make reveals more and more of the story we're not being told, we realise too late that we've been two choices behind and that our own world, family and friends' lives are hanging by a thread above a sacrificial pike. A strange man came to us and petitioned our help to save his world from a fascist ruler who planned to bring Hell to earth. We at first, brushed off his "petition" as a joke. But when your own life makes you want to jump ship, what else would you do when a stranger comes with proof of another world filled with magic and asks you to be the saviours of it?? Nothing else. You jump ship. However, people die and the plan hardly ever seems to go as planned. We dove way past our depths in a way that the choices we've already made- starting with the choice to go along- don't just affect us, but those we love, as well. Is this our legendary moment or is this the end? Have our lives become ashes polluting the many seas or is there one more seed of hope? God, I hope so.
