"Let me help you, those are heavy!" He said while marching towards me.

Placing the last book in my already busy hands I shook my head in denial and replied.
"Nah, I can help myself."

"But the thing is I want to help you, indirectly I'm helping myself. I know my Girl is strong but let me help you." He said, though the last few words were inaudible I still heard it, as the room had minimum noise.

Taking every book from my hold, he walked towards the book-bank counter.

I stood there dumbfounded.

Asking myself, gazing at him.

"𝐷𝑖𝑑 ℎ𝑒 𝑗𝑢𝑠𝑡 𝑠𝑎𝑖𝑑 𝑤ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝐼 ℎ𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑑?"

And to my surprise, he faced me after he placed the books on the counter and passed me a smile.
