I trudged into the living room and flopped face first onto the couch. Phil sighed and patted me on the head, "what has you so depressed?" I grumbled into the couch cushions, "the house feels so empty without Jim and Claire." He nodded his head as I slowly sat up, "and how are we going to cover there parts of the bills? This is a huge house!" He patted my head again with a small grin, "I also posted an ad on Craigslist. We will have more roommates in no time." I felt a chill run down my spine, "I hope no one is a creepy as that Clark dude. I'm so glad you let me eat him." He also shivered at the memory of Clark, "yeah, I learned my lesson on letting people move in before you meet them. How was I supposed to know that he was involved in human trafficking?" I scrunched up my nose, "by smell dumbass." He smacked the back of my head while I grumbled at the pain, "not everyone can smell evil." I licked my lips remembering how that disgusting human tasted, "that's true, but the evil ones taste so good." Phil chuckled softly, "you are the weirdest wendigo I've ever met." I scoffed, "this coming from the gorgon who became a history professor." He shrugged, "I lived through most of it. Might as well spread my knowledge to all the young impressionable minds." I snickered, "that sounded dirty." I received another wack to the back of the head.
