Leo Valdez is charming, funny, and impossibly smug-basically, everything Y/N didn't want in her already complicated life. But when monsters start hunting her down and her ability to see through the Mist makes her a prime target, sticking with the hyperactive son of Hephaestus seems like her only shot at survival.
Between dodging monsters, babysitting gods, and dealing with Leo's endless stream of bad jokes, Y/N discovers there might be more to this flame-wielding demigod than meets the eye. And maybe, just maybe, she's starting to like having him around... even if he insists on calling her "Hot Stuff."

Leo got up and walked towards the front of the helicopter. I frowned at Piper. "Why'd you take my hot water bottle away?" Piper snorted and I saw the tips of Leo's ears turn red as he sat down.
