CJ was just an average 13-year-old on a field trip to SkyVault, the biggest amusement park in the country-until the skies cracked open and the nightmare began. The villain known only as Malicious, the most feared supercriminal in America, descended on the park with a swarm of Nighman loyalists, bringing fire, chaos, and blood.
In the aftermath, the survivors were tested for NI-Cells-genetic markers that determined if a person was a Nighman, a rare type of superhuman. Those who tested positive were taken. The rest were forgotten. CJ tested positive. But instead of being hailed a hero, he was turned into a weapon.
His gift?
Unlimited Mimicry-the power to absorb and replicate any ability he witnessed. And under Malicious' control, CJ became a mindless, unstoppable force-a child twisted into a living weapon.
It wasn't until he was confronted by Pressure, the gravity-manipulating hero and strongest Nighman in America, that CJ was finally stopped. Pressure didn't kill him-he saved him. Freed him from the control. And then, CJ disappeared.
