Kenneth "Kenny" McCormick's life was never easy, especially during his childhood. From an early age, he had to work in places that accepted children as employees, taking on responsibilities that should have fallen on his parents and essentially managing the household.

By the age of eleven, he worked at an old gas station on the outskirts of South Park, pumping gas and cleaning windows while his classmates enjoyed their childhoods. Although the money he earned was never enough, he always found a way to provide his family with the resources they needed, ensuring they wouldn't go hungry.

His father and older brother spent most of their time drunk and constantly fighting, which terrified his younger sister, Karen McCormick.
