She was disappointed would be an understatement. She knew things would be great going if at the moment she was in her place, her own building though rented it was hers.

She couldn't believe that she cancelled her meeting to meet him, she was supposed to finalize the menu and the colour theme of the reception of her very favourite clients today.

She smiled at the memory of the lovely couple, both sweetly eyeing each other when they accidentally chose the same design, both holding hands eyeing each other with those teasing glances. She just hoped that they would stay the same even after their wedding.

Sighing she looked at the her watch for the umpteenth time and decided to pay for her coffee and leave.

"That's enough of humiliation for today" muttering to herself she walked towards the exit.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yes! She chose to be a Wedding planner. But the irony is she couldn't plan her own wedding or rather choose a partner.
Because what she wanted wasn't a Wedding but a MARRIAGE and yes these two things are totally different.
Atleast for her they were.
-This book moves a bit faster than my usual pace. Some events might feel slightly fast-forwarded, but I've done that to keep the essence tight, the emotions raw, and the story impactful without unnecessary dragging. . . He exhaled, running a hand through his hair. "Roop, shaadi kisi majboori mein nahi ki jati." (Marriage isn't something that should happen out of compulsion.) A bitter smile tugged at my lips. "Yahi toh farq hai tumhari aur meri zindagi mein, Anirudh. Tumhare paas choice hai, mere paas nahi." (That's the difference between your life and mine, Anirudh. You have a choice. I don't.) His expression darkened. "Main tumhari family se baat karunga-" "Nahi!" I cut him off, my voice sharp with desperation. "You won't understand. You've never seen helplessness, Anirudh. You don't know that when a girl has no options, she only looks for survival." A strange silence stretched between us, thick with unspoken pain. Anirudh sighed and leaned back against the bench, his fingers tapping against his knee. "You're telling me you'd marry any stranger just because you have no other way out?" I stiffened. "You're not a stranger." His lips quirked up, almost amused. "Until a day ago, I was." I clenched my fists. "I don't care who you are. I just need to accept this match, or the other option will destroy me." Anirudh fell silent, his gaze steady on me. The playfulness in his eyes faded, replaced by something more intense, more thoughtful. Finally, he asked, "And what if I tell you that I don't want to marry you either?"
❝Bhoot pret nikat nahi aavey, Mahavir jab naam sunavey...❞ It was late at night, when I heard a knock on the window. I froze hearing the knock. Slowly, I got up from my study table and tiptoed toward my bed, trying to decide if I should check the window. But something told me not to, so I climbed on the bed instead. I'm not opening that window. I know how in horror movies, the main character hears some creepy noise and runs straight towards it. Like hello? do they not care there could be a whole-ass ghost waiting to jump on them? Another knock. I squeezed my eyes shut, gripping the blanket tightly. If this is how I die, I swear I'm haunting the ghost back. I was on the verge of running to wake up my parents when I heard a sneeze and then... my name whispered slowly. "Pratiksha." It clicked in an instant. Oh god! I shot up from the bed, hurriedly unlocking and opening the window. Before I could even react, he tumbled through and fell directly on the floor with a thud. I gasped in shock, half laughing but also panicking at the sight of him in my room. "How did you-" I started to ask, but he quickly clamped his hand over my mouth. I stared at him. He leaned in closer and whispered, "Don't make noise, or we'll both be in trouble." What. Is. Happening. ~~~ If overthinking was a sport, she would have won every time. He, on the other hand, one moment, he was the smoothest guy around. The next, he was doing something completely silly just for fun. Together, they were like a perfect mess. But a twist of destiny tore them apart. Six years later, they met again, the love that once bloomed was now buried under layers of hatred, from both sides. Could they move past the hurt, the anger and the six years that had turned them into stranger?
"How dare you touch me?" she shouted, losing her senses. she was about to get up from the couch when he held back my neck and brought her back to the position and roared in a dangerously calm voice " NOT ONLY TOUCH I HAVE ALL FUCKING RIGHTS TO FUCK YOU HARD WHENEVER, WHEREVER I WANT. GET THIS IN YOUR HEAD." "What are you doing?" he questioned, trying to calm himself, but it came out in a harsh tone. "I won't sleep with you and you fucking don't touch me" she asserted with a voice full of demand. He took slow steps towards her, which resulted in her moving back. Now, after three to four steps, she was caged between him and the wall. "I DARE YOU AADRIKA KABIR SINGHANIA TO SLEEP AWAY FROM ME EVEN AN INCH. I PROMISE TO FUCK YOU ON THAT DAMN COUCH UNTIL I MAKE SURE YOU DON'T HAVE THE ENERGY TO MOVE A SINGLE FINGER OF YOURS AWAY FROM ME." she visibly gulped, listening to his words. Without wasting even a second, he picked her up in his arms and moved towards the bed. 。♡‿♡。。♡‿♡。。♡‿♡。。♡‿♡。 "why are you doing this? " She said sobbing badly.
