Jodie Stark grew seeing her father as a real life super hero, after he saved her from her mother in New York. But after her father is captured, returned, and then almost killed in the span of a few weeks, the whole world suddenly sees him as a hero, and villans seem to rise from every corner of the Earth.
And worse yet, her imaginary friend is feeling much less imaginary, and odd things happening around her, and it's growing worse. She knows if she cannot hide it, her father will really send her away, but her friend grows restless, and the strange events around her only grow worse . . .
