The story begins with Yuna, a troubled young woman in debt, haunted by her past.
She is emotionally detached, with an eerie obsession with pain, blood, and control.
Yuna is lured into the Squid Game under the false promise of starting fresh, but once there, she finds herself exhilarated by the chaos and violence. Her survival instincts are razor-sharp, and she quickly proves to be a fearsome competitor.
Hwang In-ho, the Front Man, oversees the games with cold precision. His sadistic nature manifests in his obsession with the players struggle and bleed for survival.
During a particularly gruesome game, Yuna catches In-ho's attention. Unlike other players, she doesn't simply fight to survive-she thrives in the carnage, almost enjoying it. In-ho becomes captivated by her, feeling as though she mirrors his own dark psyche.
Meanwhile, Yuna begins to suspect someone is watching her closely, but instead of fear, she feels a dangerous thrill.
As the front man of a deadly survival game, it is In-ho's job to make sure the plan goes accordingly, and to do so, he must portray as an ordinary player in the game, but there seems to be a distraction along the way as he encounters a former champion, Seong Gi-Hun. He didn't seem to care at first; he just had to do his job. However, he slowly starts to develop feelings, which interfere with his mission. Will he stick to the plan or follow his heart?
