That night was a fever dream for both of the Ericson kids. Clementine had finally found someone she felt safe fully confiding in since she was 12 years old and Louis had finally found someone who would go to the ends of the earth if it meant protecting him and his family. Who knew that time could disappear so fast when you're having that much fun?
The attack on the school was brutal, as anyone would attest but nobody knew the horrors of what was to come.
After quickly saving Violet from Lily's rath, Clementine's eyes caught a glimpse of her helpless boyfriend who was being locked in the cage and before she could do anything, he was gone.
Once back home and finally safe from the hell back on that God forsaken boat, Clementine and Louis need to work on rekindling what they had that magical night and of course, deal with the tragedies of what went on in their own minds.
Clementine feeling at total fault for Louis' injury and Louis in utter pain and sadness from the loss of what he would consider to be his most important body part; his tounge.
