In-ho deeply believes that Gi-hun is destined to work alongside him, to be the second frontman man and lead the games together.
The only problem is that Gi-hun still had morals, fear and a sense of humanity inside him, but In-ho knew, that he'd be able to break that, break him, break his innocent view of this world, make him see it's true colors.
Gi-hun, in the other hand, takes this opportunity to try and convince the frontman, to show him, convince him the world isn't as bad as he claims it to be.
