In the desolate aftermath of the Cataclysm, Japan lies fractured, its once-thriving cities reduced to lawless wastelands. From the ashes rises the notorious League of Villains, an unorthodox faction born of survival, rebellion, and the blurring lines between heroes and villains. Shigaraki Tomura, Toga Himiko, and their newest recruit, the enigmatic Akira Ishiguro, navigate this shattered world where the ideals of heroism have crumbled under the weight of tragedy.

Eight years ago, the catastrophic battle between All Might's successor, Izuku Midoriya, and the nefarious All For One left a trail of destruction that claimed the lives of several prominent heroes, including Midoriya himself. In the wake of this devastation, the once-revered Hero Association transformed into an oppressive regime under the iron grip of the Quirk Registration Division (QRD). Obsessed with maintaining stability at all costs, these so-called "heroes" have become ruthless enforcers of a new, fascist, totalitarian order.
