Cassidy has pretty much been through hell and back, twice. She's had the words betrayal and tragedy embedded into her mind. She's lived through quite a story with a little bit of romance, friendships, family bonds, and adventure.
Her life has been turned upside down and sideways and twisted over and over again. Her whole life is a knot no one can untangle. Here is her story:
Cassidy is just a regular teenager with a family, who adopted her. Her real family was killed in a horrible car crash coming to get her and her twin sister at a party. They spend years in an orphanage until Cassidy abandons her sister for a new and clean start. Her whole life changes into a happy one with an amazing family and amazing friends until something strange happens, a literal Deja Vu moment. Her life is once again, turned upside down. She has to go back and drown her demons until something even stranger happens. She ends up in a hospital with strangers, cops, doctors, and reporters crowding her every thought, with her loved ones in the rooms across from her. She's a whole different person and struggles for answers as to why everyone around her keeps disappearing. Then, one day, her biggest demon has come back with two presents, two boxes. One is listed under ANSWERS and the other is listed under SOLUTIONS AND DEALS. Will she untangle all of her questions that have been keeping her held back or make a deal with the Devil?

Anyone that chooses not to follow the rules can drop out and become what's known as an Outcast, but then you risk being imprisoned. While America seems to be running perfectly under these laws, a rebellion is stirring among the professionals. With secrets and lies in government and families alike to change the future of America forever, Cassidy finds herself caught up in the middle of the all out war that is about to break out. What she thought she knew about her world is about to change forever, bringing everyone she knows down with her. DISCLAIMER 2016/2017: This book is a few years old at this point, and due to the political uproar in American in 2016 I feel the need to make this abundantly clear. Outcasts takes place in a dystopian world in an undetermined year in the future, and the political parties depicted in this story - the Republicans and the Democrats - are in no way, shape or form a commentary on their real-life counterparts. I had very little knowledge of American politics when I wrote this story, and if I could go back and change their names I would. Kiara was really depressed before she met Cassandra. She had been bullied and picked on since as long as she can remember. There wasn't even a reason for it and that makes it much worse. After a few years of good friendship, Kiara realized her love for Cassandra took a different turn, she started to have feelings and soon after, she and Cassandra got into a relationship. Life was good. Too good. After graduation, something really really terrible happened. Cassandra got into a car accident. It was really bad. She got into a really bad coma. Now it's three years later and she's still fast asleep. Kiara's life has been on pause ever since. Until- Kiara also got into an accident. Not that kind of accident though.. Kiara accidentally saw things she wasn't supposed to see. Heard things she wasn't supposed to know. The only possible option was to take Kiara with them. And that's when Kiara's life get's off pause.
