What do you call a stupid, broke idiot that has no sense of self-preservation? You. It's called YOU. The chill that runs up your spine isn't just from the freezing winds that bite at your skin, not when there's a pair of eyes behind you from the treeline. Little does it know, you're watching it too. You're the one Watching the Night Watch. ----- Where the reader is a paranormal investigator and historical research based streamer/YouTuber that got a very fine tip-off from one of their viewers, now on the pursuit of the 'Ithaqua' ("for that bling bling"). When I first met him, he was feral-like a smart Neanderthal. He blended with the Oregon forest like the predator himself, but at least this one, you could look at. I was just trying to get justice for my friend, chasing a story that felt too important to ignore. But instead of answers, I found Aaron Hallam. I nearly died protecting him in my own home, and when I thought he was gone for good-erased by LT, I threw it all away. Moved back to New York. Tried to start over. Then, just when I thought I'd left it behind, I ended up on a blind date with a predator of a different kind. I almost became another missing girl, trafficked and forgotten. But Aaron-the supposedly dead fugitive-came back like a ghost, slashing the bastard up before he could lay a hand on me. Now I'm stuck with him again. And honestly? I'm good right here.
