Nilou is known to be a spirit slayer that protects the goods spirits from evil spirits when an incident occurs. She visits her brother-like airbending friend only to come and find out that he was running away from his role of being the avatar seeing how scared and vulnerable he was.

She decides to go with him only to woke up 100 years later confused especially when she meets the odd water tribe siblings who helps them on their journey to help the avatar while a blossoming relationship happens between the spirit slayer and water tribe boy
