Julian Westwood, a brilliant but emotionally consumed scientist, loses the love of his life, Freya Kane, due to his obsession with work and inability to connect with her. Overwhelmed by failures and frustrations, he pushes Freya away until she finally leaves him and marries someone else. Unable to move on, Julian becomes fixated on the idea of finding a version of Freya in an alternate universe, believing that somewhere in the multiverse, they are meant to be together.
