Wooden Soul - Countryhumans Canada x Norway
38 parts Ongoing MatureNature never worked.
You've never tried to make it work - Would be Canada's response. Stuck in a moral dilemma and the pressure to do great things, along with unneeded advise all take a toll on his youthful outlook. Trying not to lose his idealism, Canada resigns to work with a lumber company - the exact opposite of what he studied for. Would this be all he amounted to? A profiteering tree-killer with a degree in forest conservation? No doubt there's more to that.
Nature never worked.
Then don't try to understand me - Would be Norway's response. Between his Scandinavian household's lack of attention to the important aspects of life and the incessant clamour of others around him sap at his sweetness. Most days, he's bland, unemotional, and disinterested. But in the nearby forest, he's a whole different person, with an aura of hope that lights a path to the skies. Anyone who knew Norway enough knew that the forest was his spot of peace and tranquility.
All of that would be nice if the forest wasn't suddenly sold to be torn down. Norway meets the first perpetrator, Canada, mid-stroke to take the life of the first tree. The story of two misunderstood people who are bound by circumstance, bad luck, and nature.
