At just ten years old, Adessa Brooks was Byron Bay's youngest and most successful surfer. Surfing was her whole world, and all she dreamed of was becoming even more famous than she already was, being known for something grant, something just for her. But one reckless leap-off a dangerous cliff-changed everything she ever loved. Now, at 17, Adessa's life looks nothing like she imagined, how she used to be. The ocean she once loved now fills her with fear, and she's lost the only thing that gave her purpose. Struggling to move forward, Adessa has no idea who she is without surfing.

Forced to move from his home in California where he was loved by everyone to the quiet town of Byron Bay, all Taj can think about is fixing his family and finding a way back to the life he loved.
