Story Description:

Mitsuki Sato is the queen of academics, reigning supreme at the top of her high school with her nose always buried in books. No distractions, no drama-just perfect grades and total isolation. That is, until he walks in. Takehishi Akihiko: the tall, mysterious transfer student with silver-white hair, eyes that look like they belong in a sci-fi movie, and a reputation that seems to appear out of thin air. Oh, and did we mention he beats Mitsuki in grades without even trying? The nerve!

Suddenly, Mitsuki's perfect, quiet world is turned upside down. Who is this guy? Why does he keep his distance? And what's the deal with his uncanny ability to keep everyone-including her-at arm's length? Fueled by jealousy and the need to protect her title as the smartest in class, Mitsuki launches an undercover investigation into Takehishi's life, determined to uncover his secrets. Is he secretly a spy? A mysterious heir to a fortune? An alien? (Okay, maybe not an alien-but you get the idea.)

The catch? Takehishi's cooler than a cucumber in an ice bath, completely indifferent to her scheming. With every step Mitsuki takes toward uncovering his secrets, she only finds herself getting more tangled in her own ridiculous antics. From crashing into him in the hallways (literally), to accidentally becoming the subject of his very unbothered gaze, Mitsuki's life has never been more... chaotic.

Will Mitsuki ever expose the truth about Takehishi? Or will she just end up embarrassing herself in the process (again)? One thing's for sure: high school has never been so full of mystery, mischief, and a whole lot of unintentional comedy.
