Gabriel Whitmore has spent his life in the shadow of his family's immense wealth and influence, trapped by their overprotective control. As a quiet introvert with a love for music, he dreams of a life where he's free to be himself, away from the suffocating expectations tied to his last name. When he convinces his parents to let him live alone in a modest flat, he's determined to embrace a life of silence and independence.
But peace is the last thing he gets when Elijah Montgomery, a charming, loud, and relentlessly extroverted heir to another wealthy family, stumbles into his life. Everything about Elijah irritates Gabriel-his love for parties, his chaotic group of friends, and his audacious personality that refuses to respect personal boundaries. Yet, despite their clashing personalities, Elijah becomes inexplicably drawn to Gabriel's quiet, stubborn nature.
As the two navigate their differences, Gabriel's world begins to shift. Elijah pushes him out of his comfort zone, encouraging him to share his passion for music while challenging his fears of vulnerability. At the same time, Elijah starts to confront his own insecurities-his possessiveness, the pressures of living up to his family's legacy, and his growing fear of losing the one person who truly sees him for who he is.
Together, they face challenges that test their growing bond: the suffocating expectations of wealth, misunderstandings that threaten to tear them apart, and the struggle of balancing independence with intimacy. Slowly but surely, Gabriel and Elijah learn that love isn't about perfection but about building a foundation strong enough to weather life's storms.

Excerpt:
I looked up and stared. My reflection looked back at me in the mirror of the dark room. My eyes were literally glowing, there was no mistaking it. It was not a reflection of light, or any of the other excuses I had used or others had assumed. They were glowing a light sapphire blue color. It was not a bright glow, but it was definitely a glow.
Glowing eyes were not normal.
Okay, at this point I had to admit it, I was no longer normal.
What was I then? For that, I had no answer
